This is the way things are going for the Chicago White Sox : Even when they hit a ball that looks like the go-ahead home run in the ninth inning, they still LOSE.
Jason Bay's game-saving catch robbed Jim Thome of a three-run homer and allowed the Pittsburgh Pirates to escape with a come-from-behind 4:2 win Friday night.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game"的歌,以下是關於這首歌的故事。
Take Me Out to the Ball Game"這麼出名!而"Take Me Out to the Ball Game"這首美國棒球國歌,是作者在坐火車前往紐約曼哈頓的途中,在一張報紙撕下來的小紙片上寫成的。
Take Me Out to the Ball Game",隨後推出了同時有兩個版本的唱片,再度大為流行。
Harry Carry,
Take Me Out to the Ball Game",每個人都覺得他們可以唱的跟你一樣好甚至比你還好,所以大家都開始大聲的唱!
Take Me Out to the Ball Game"成為大聯盟球場七局上攻守交換時間必唱的歌曲。
經歷過那個時代的大聯盟投手Larry Anderson(生涯17年,出賽699場)回憶起當時的情況說道
Take Me Out to the Ball Game",而且他們看起來好像早就準備好了! Take Me Out to the Ball Game"?
Take Me Out to the Ball Game"這麼
出名。
Katie Casey was base ball mad.
Had the fever and had it bad;
Just to root for the home town crew,
Ev'ry sou Katie blew.
On a Saturday, he young beau
Called to see if she'd like to go,
To see a show but Miss Kate said,
"No, I'll tell you what you can do."
"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."
Katie Casey saw all the games,
Knew the players by their first names;
Told the umpire he was wrong,
All along good and strong.
When the score was just two to two,
Katie Casey knew what to do,
Just to cheer up the boys she knew,
She made the gang sing this song:
"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, your out,
At the old ball game."

Nelly Kelly love baseball games,
Knew the players, knew all their names,
You could see her there ev'ry day,
Shout "Hurray," when they'd play.
Her boy friend by the name of Joe
Said, "To Coney Isle, dear, let's go,"
Then Nelly started to fret and pout,
And to him I heard her shout.
